About our Rare Classics Series

In my book CLASSICS: Why and how we can encourage children to read them, I mentioned that I was dissatisfied with the books published for children. The books were poorly adapted, and the illustrations did not match the prose. I also wanted to open many more classics for children of ages seven upwards, those avoided by the big publishing houses, as I believed it would help their overall development. The Rare Classics Series was born out of that desire. Michaelangelo Zane and I have teamed up to make such rare gems available to the children. We were fortunate to bring onboard multi-talented illustrator Farzana Cooper who conceptualizes and executes are instructions to a T.
